Do you want to learn how to deal with your somatic and visual flashbacks?
Are you ready to process and transform your traumatic memories?
Are you willing to invest in you?
If so, this intensive therapy retreat is for you.

Come and learn how to heal, grow and connect.

I am Ready

This retreat is for you if:

You struggle to regulate your emotions

You have ongoing tension in your body and/or a sense of numbness

You experienced a traumatic event/s such as abuse, an accident, chronic pain or loss

You are ready and committed to learning   how to help yourself

This therapeutic retreat will not only support you in being able to PROCESS both the emotional and physical aspects of trauma

but will allow you to EXPLORE how you learned to cope with the trauma and the impact it is having on your life NOW.

This retreat is NOT for you if:

You are not willing to think and reflect on your experiences

You want space to talk in detail about what happened to you

You are currently in a relationship where you are still being physically and sexually assaulted

You have active suicidality or a recent hospital admission for mental health concerns

Healing from Trauma is HARD and, if you want to attend this retreat, we need to ensure you are ready to do the work safely.

For this reason, every woman who is interested in attending this event will be required to have an initial assessment.

This will help us to ensure we are the best people to help you on your journey.

Your guide: Dr Kelly Savery

Dr Kelly is a trauma psychologist in the UK. She became interested in the healing relationship between the body and mind through 12 years of her experience working with individuals who have lived through trauma.

Dr Kelly's experience with trauma herself is related to being a woman of colour. She understands what it feels like to be powerless to circumstances out of your control.

As a trauma psychologist, Dr Kelly has seen many trauma survivors work through their past traumatic experiences in trauma therapy and knows firsthand how resilient survivors of trauma are.

Her greatest joy as a trauma psychologist is witnessing change in the people she is supporting.

Your guide: Theres Fickl

Theres is a psycho-trauma counsellor, supervisor and trainer in the UK. After years of working with children and young people with attachment trauma she is now enjoying working with women who are trying to grow beyond their traumatic experiences.

Theres is passionate about creating a space where women can leave their self-judgement behind and use their curiosity instead, to explore their body and mind’s responses to trauma. She knows how important such a space is from her own engagement with her therapy process.

She enjoys sharing knowledge, offering reflective questions, bringing empathy and humour to the space. Theres feels honoured that the women she works with share so deeply, and allow her to travel alongside them in their journey to growth.

She feels humbled by the human spirit that prevails no matter what.
